The AI Assistant
The repeated question, answered in the business’s own words.
Some questions arrive dozens of times a week, from clients, from crews, from new hires. They are easy questions, the same ones over and over, and answering them by hand is a tax the owner pays in interruptions.
An assistant trained on a business’s own material answers those questions in that business’s own words. It exists because the repetition is the tell: a question asked forty times a week is really one answer that has not been given a place to live.
What changes when it is assembled
The assistant is only as good as the library behind it. On its own it is a clever stranger; wired to the knowledge a business already keeps, it becomes the business answering in its own voice. That is the difference between a generic chatbot and a material that belongs to one company.
Used well, it sounds like the owner on a good day, with perfect recall, answering the question they have answered a hundred times, so they do not have to answer it again.
An assistant leaning entirely on the library beside it: material three depending on material two, which is how assemblies usually work.
